CWU Takes Part in Study Abroad Project of China Scholarship Council
China Scholarship Council (CSC) recently gave China Women's University (CWU) the go-ahead to participate in the council's study abroad project from this year.
The project seeks to benefit the most valuable young teachers in colleges nationwide. According to the scheme, CSC and CWU will jointly finance five young and promising teachers to study abroad for between three to 12 months. It marks a further widening of the ways in which CWU staff can study abroad, and is also an important measure of effectively promoting internationalization.
The project is mainly focused on China's “985” and “211” universities (the top universities in the country). Through the unremitting efforts of school leaders and related departments, CWU has successfully become involved in the program.
It is the first time that CWU obtained the financial support of CSC for the development and promotion of their teachers.
CWU will start the process of choosing the first batch of teachers to study abroad at the end of August. The relative application period, procedure and management system will be released later, and CWU welcomes the attention and active participation of young teachers.
