In October 2013, RCTS invited Prof. Lu Min, expert from the National Translation Test and Appraisal Center, to give a lecture on “Translation Studies and China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters (CATTI)” for the teachers and students from the Foreign Languages Department of CWU.
In October 2015, at the invitation of RCTS, Prof. Han Jiaquan, Senior Translator and Expert Member of the Translators Association of China, paid a visit to CWU for an interaction with the students and teachers.
In October 2015, at the invitation of RCTS, Mr. Shastri Ramachandaran, Indian Journalist, author, and independent political and foreign affairs commentator, came to CWU and lectured the English majors of Grade 2013 on the topics of Improving English Writing Ability and the Future of China and India. Mr. Shastri is now working with China International Publishing Group as an editorial consultant.
