With technical guidance from RCTS, Tong Qin and Qin Mingyu, two English majors of Grade 2011 interpreted for the Workshop on Sisterhood and After: The Women's Liberation Movement Oral History Project, which was led by Dr. Margaretta Jolly from University of Sussex, UK in June 2015. This is the first time that CWU students undertook and successfully accomplished consecutive interpretation at a formal meeting.
In May 2013, RCTS prepared 12 English majors of CWU for serving the “2nd China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services,” creating an opportunity for them to experience simultaneous interpretation.
